James Pickering

BSc (Hons) Ost., DO; BA (Hons)

Clinical Director

Having trained at the European School of Osteopathy and headed clinical teams in Kent and East Sussex, James Pickering is a forward-thinking practitioner whose priority is to achieve the best outcomes for his patients.

Trusted and respected by patients and peers alike, James has a wealth of experience in all musculoskeletal issues, with proven expertise in spinal disc conditions and associated nerve pain. Back pain, neck pain and sciatica sufferers travel across the South East to be treated at Wealden Osteopaths and Spine Centre - the only approved IDD Therapy Clinic in the Weald of Kent and East Sussex.

After 15 years in practice as an osteopath, James is still excited about the capabilities of non-invasive spinal care; he’s devoted to finding solutions which free sufferers from a merry-go-round of painkillers, GP visits and invasive procedures such as injections and surgery. He says:

"Many sufferers have tried lots of different treatments without success; for some it feels like they've run out of options. But with hands-on osteopathy and gentle and effective treatments like IDD Therapy, our patients finally have a programme of care which can resolve or significantly improve their long term pain and mobility."
